Today at breakfast, Laura didn’t want any potatoes. This is the first time I’ve ever known Laura to NOT eat potatoes. Pregnancy was sure to have something to do with it.
Oh, yeah, I never mentioned on here that Laura and I are expecting our second child. No idea of the sex yet, but we’re thrilled. Ben obviously doesn’t quite get it yet, but seems excited too. More news to come…
Today is the day after Ben’s ear surgery and all appears well. Maybe it’s just wishful thinking on my part but he sounds better. It’s not just me that noticed though. My brother (Happy Anniversary, by the way) said Ben sounded clearer, too. He slept well last night and his cold seems to be going away. It’s amazing what two little tubes no bigger than the tip of your pen can do.
Last night Ben and I went trick or treating around the cul-de-sac. I think he enjoyed himself until we hit one house that was a little spooky and dark. That wasn’t his favorite but he liked dressing up as a hockey player. Next year it will probably be a completely different ballgame.
