Fixing the ears
Sunday, October 30th, 2005Tomorrow we are headed to the hospital for surgery. Ben is having tubes put in his ears to help solve the recurring ear infection issue we’ve experienced. Lately, I’ve been noticing that his pronunciation hasn’t improved to the level that it should and we think his ears are a big part of that. So, it’s early to bed tonight because we need to be there at 5:30 AM.
The last two days have been probably the worst two days he’s ever had. He’s been cranky, tempermental and very, very challenging. Hopefully, the tubes will make ear infections a thing of the past and our normal Ben will return.
By the way, Ben doesn’t really understand what’s going on tomorrow although we’ve been telling him that we’re going to the doctor to “fix his ears”.
